For the Arab European Cities Dialogue 2025 event in Riyadh, we partnered with Riyadh Municipality to design and construct two immersive stands, “Sustainability and Green Future in Riyadh” and “Innovation and Smart City in Riyadh,” each powered by an interactive table featuring advanced object recognition. By placing and rotating tokens corresponding to different developmental pillars, visitors triggered 24 dynamic animations that seamlessly combined modern minimalist design with photorealistic scenes. This hands-on engagement not only showcased various urban-planning concepts—from eco-friendly infrastructure to next-generation transit solutions—but also demonstrated how object-recognition technology can elevate user interaction.

A towering vertical screen complemented the token-based object recognition table, amplifying each animation to create a more engaging, educational atmosphere. Alongside these futuristic exhibits, we presented our previously developed project, “Riyadh Digital Twin,” offering a cutting-edge three-dimensional model of the city. By uniting immersive technology with interactive storytelling, the installation highlighted Riyadh’s commitment to sustainable growth, innovative urban solutions, and enhanced digital experiences.
